Perfect for traffic ticket dismissal, A+
IMPROV's course was amazing at masking your traffic ticket and getting it dismissed. I looked at the options and driving lessons and decided to go for the different spin on your normal boring classroom setup. Glad I chose this Kentucky course, thanks IMPROV! A+

Wow, simple and easy!
I was afraid to do a video course online but after live chat with Jordan about the course details I felt safe to do it, what a great source of information it was simple and easy to do it on one time. Same day certificate is awesome, can't ask for anything better than that.

I really appreciated not having to sit in a classroom seat for 8 hours! I was able to start the school from my desktop and pick it back up on my iPhone when I was standing in line at Ikea. Definitely a good use of my time waiting around.

You are most likely taking our course because:

  1. You received a traffic ticket and want to get the points removed from your driving record and/or

Are there any tests? Will I get a grade or score?

There are pass-only quizzes at the end of each chapter. If you answer any of the three multiple-choice questions incorrectly, then the program will show you the correct answer(s). You can re-take these quizzes until you answer 3 out of 3 appropriately. The quizzes are designed to help you prepare for the final. You will then be graded on the final. See “final” for further details.

Is there a final?

Yes, there is a very easy, 30 multiple-choice questions final quiz. As long as you get 24 correct, or 80% correct, you will pass. Students are allowed three attempts to pass the final. If you happen to fail, you will need to re-register for the course, and take it again.

Your completion date and time of the course will show up on your 5-year driving record. This record is reviewed by government agencies including law enforcement departments and courts. It does not show up on your 3-year record.

You have 30 days to complete the course per Kentucky law. If you do not complete the course in that amount of time you will be forfeiting your eligibility for point reduction. Be sure to mark your calendar and finish on time!

Can I get an extension?

You can ask for an extension from your court, however, many courts do not allow this. It will be decided by the judge whether or not to grant you an extension or give you permission to reschedule.

New Kentucky License Changes

Why are Kentucky licenses changing?

Kentucky is advancing the process of issuing driver's license, permit and personal ID cards in an effort to improve the security of state-issued credentials and comply with federal standards. The 2005 REAL ID Act changes state requirements and procedures for the issuance of identity credentials accepted by select federal agencies, including the Transportation Security Administration. Starting Oct. 1, 2020, Kentucky’s current and new standard credentials will no longer be accepted for U.S. air travel or entering restricted federal facilities, like military bases, nuclear power plants or the White House. A phased, statewide rollout of the new credentials and changes will begin in early 2019 and be complete by spring.

Will current credentials become invalid when the new credentials roll out in early 2019?

Current licenses, permits and IDs will remain valid until their expiration date. Once new credentials are available in your county of residence, you do not need to replace your current card with a new version unless:

  • Your card is within its renewal window (6 months prior to the card’s expiration date)
  • Your name, address or gender changes
  • You would like a Voluntary Travel ID and your card's renewal window does not allow you to renew prior to Oct. 1, 2020 when federal enforcement begins

What happens if I want a Voluntary Travel ID but my renewal window doesn't allow me to renew before the Oct. 1, 2020 federal enforcement date?

Applicants who desire a Voluntary Travel ID and have a credential with a renewal window that does not allow them to renew prior to Oct. 1, 2020 may apply by presenting their current license, permit or ID at the Circuit Court Clerk office in their county of residence, bringing in the required documentation and sitting for a new photo. The applicant will pay $15 to upgrade to a Voluntary Travel ID credential that maintains their current credential’s expiration date. If an applicant’s current license, permit or ID has a renewal window that allows them to renew prior to Oct. 1, 2020, they should apply during that window.
