You will reduce the base rate of your auto and motorcycle insurance premiums by 10% each year for three years. While savings will depend on your individual policy, our students report savings from $400–1200 over the course of three years.
There are short multiple-choice quizzes at the end of each chapter, but no final test. If you don't pass the quizzes, just keep taking it until you do! Once you complete the course, we will mail you the original certificate of completion the next day.
No, taking the course will enable you to save for 3 years (36 months) from the course completion date. To enjoy savings after 3 years, simply take the course again.
Once you submit the certificate of completion to your insurance company, the savings will go into effect and will be retroactively start from your course completion date.
Yes, you will! If you have any drivers who are primary drivers of the vehicle on your policy, you will receive additional savings if they take the course.
"Point reduction" means the NY DMV will not count up to four points on your driving record toward license revocation or suspension. Points must have been applied to your driving record within the past eighteen (18) months to qualify for a reduction with this course. Once you complete the course, we will notify the NY DMV and the DMV will automatically reduce your active points (up to four points).
