Texas State Approval

Texas State ApprovalIf you were referred by court or an insurance company to complete a defensive driving course, you need to attend one that is approved by the State of Texas. Our comedy defensive driving course by Improv is TEA approved (TEA is Texas’ main approving body for any driver improvement course).

Wherever you live in Texas, whether it’s Houston, Dallas, Ellis, Galveston, El Paso, or another part of the state, our online defensive driving Texas course is available for you and meets the eligibility requirements in your county’s court.

Benefits of TEA Approved Defensive Driving Course

We know you don’t have time to sit in a classroom, and you also don’t want to spend hours reading boring information. That’s why we brought on professional writers to create a course that’s simple, easy to understand, and best of all, fun! Plus, you get to complete the course on your own schedule from any computer.

Courses Available and Pricing

We have two courses to choose from and one simple all-inclusive price of $25. We have no extra fees for same-day service and no junk processing fees.

  • The ticket dismissal course is for people who have received a defensive driving course referral from the court.
  • The insurance discount course is designed to help you qualify for insurance discounts from Texas insurers that offer discounts for defensive driving.

Many courts may require you to submit your driving record in order to have your ticket dismissed. We offer you the convenience of ordering your certified driving record online together with the course. The record will be available for you to print after you complete the course.

Certificate Delivery Options After Completion

Texas requires us to issue you an original certificate after you complete the course. We will process your certificate the day you complete the course and mail it to you. If you are in a hurry, you can get next-day delivery as long as you complete the course by 5:00 p.m. Central time.
