Yes, if you are taking the course to avoid point assessment on your driving record. Since our course is provided entirely online, if you complete your course before midnight (PST) tonight, your completion date will be reflect today’s date and we report your completion to the Missouri Department of Revenue on your behalf. If you are taking the course because you were ordered by the court, and your certificate is due today, you should consider contacting the court for an extension because you still need to turn in your certificate to the Court. Ask your Court if they base completion submissions on the date the course was completed or if the certificate must be submitted by the due date.
The completion certificate will contain both the ‘Student Copy’ and ‘Court Copy’. We report your completion directly to the Missouri Department of Revenue on your behalf; however, if you were ordered by the Court to take this course, Missouri courts require that defendants submit a copy of their completion certificate to them directly either by mail or in-person. You may disregard the ‘Court Copy’ if you were not ordered by the Court to take this course and just retain your ‘Student’ Copy for your records.
